- I am thankful that God has gifted me with being crafty. Creating has made me feel closer to the creator.
- I am thankful that God has blessed me with wonderful friends that are willing to listen to me ramble on and on sometimes about nothing and sometimes about everything.
- I am thankful for God patience with me as I learn to pray more regularly.
- I am thankful for Father Dennis' homily on Sunday. To hear him say that you are never alone that God is always with you. So on those days when I feel "alone" I no longer have to I can turn to God and say thank you for being with me today.
- I am thankful for my kids. Although they can cause me to feel a bit crazy most days, I would not change a thing.
- I am thankful for my stash of fabric...this keeps me busy. But my creative mind never stops and I find myself with many projects started and not a lot finished.

I love fabric stashes! I love crafts! Your thankful heart blessed me! I think when we have the ability to "craft"--it's a God given talent...and sometimes if we aren't "crafting" we may be miserable---I know if I have a project going (even if I am a bit slow about it) I am happier.---so I guess I need to get back to that bedskirt I was working on huh?

It helps me to get out of a funk to look beyond myself to see how truly blessed I am. I have been in the funk on and off for the last couple of months - I am glad that our Lord reminds me to focus on the positive things in my life...

Your list resonates with many of us, I'm sure. I get into a funk from time to time and have to pull myself out of it. Ditto on the kids: They can drive me to wish I were a drinking woman! :-) But I wouldn't trade 'em.
